Chappaqua is a well known hamlet in New Castle. Chappaqua’s village offers cute shops, restaurants and a charming stone train station. Each Saturday from Spring through Fall the station hosts the Chappaqua Farmer’s Market where residents find food that is locally grown, caught, raised or produced. A short drive to the new Chappaqua Crossing built on what was once the Readers Digest campus offers a Whole Foods Market, Life Time Fitness and a drive-through Starbucks. The Performing Arts Center provides arts and cultural programs. The Children’s Book Festival, brings young readers together with authors and illustrators for a magical day in October. Students attend the Chappaqua Central School District. The nearby Saw Mill River Parkway and Chappaqua Metro North Station will lead you both north or south. (38 miles to NYC)
